Miravalles Volcano Tour

Miravalles Volcano Tour will take you to enjoy the natural hot spring in the Guanacaste mountain range. The Miravalles Volcano, an active volcano located nearby, feeds the hot springs. The place also offers horseback riding, waterfalls, and hanging bridges.
Miravalles Volcano Tour starts upon your arrival at the visitor center. From there, you will take a guided hike to the hot springs. Along the way, you will learn about the area’s different types of geothermal activity. You will observe geysers, mud pots, and hot springs. The hot springs’ temperature varies depending on the spring but is typically between 100 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Miravalles Volcano Tour also offers a visit to two different waterfalls; one is about 150 feet tall and cascades into a pool of crystal-clear water. The surrounding area is lush and green, with towering trees and lush vegetation. There is a 40-meter hanging bridge with amazing views of the waterfall. You can take a horseback ride to the waterfalls or enjoy a ride on a tractor that will take you to a closer point.

Miravalles Volcano Tour Includes.
Transportation, bilingual guide, bottled water, natural thermal springs, waterfalls pond, nature trails, hanging bridges, muddy cauldrons, horseback riding, and lunch.
What to bring: Tennis or hiking shoes, comfortable clothes, a towel, swimsuit, sandals, rain gear, poncho, towel, change of clothes, bug repellent, and sunscreen.
Departure: 7.00 am / Return: 4.00 pm approx.
Duration: 8 hours approx.
Please note: This Tour is not recommendable for people with pressure, diabetes, knees, hips, or back problems.
Hiking Level: Easy-Moderate
Important Note: In case of suffering from a chronic disease or specialized care, please bring your medications with you and inform our guide so that we can assist you in the correct way if necessary.

Miravalles Volcano Tour Cancellation Policies
Tours reserved less than 48 hours before departure must be paid immediately.
Cancelations made 72 hours before the tour are 100% refundable; bank fees apply.
Cancelations between 72 – 48 hours are 50% refundable. Bank fees apply.
Cancelations made within 48- 24 hours or less are not refundable.
Non-Shows and last-minute cancellations are not refundable.
Change of date must be done at least 48 hours before the tour, during office hours (8 am-5 pm). Penalties apply. Subject to availability.
We do not accept guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund will apply.
Driver and Tour Guide Tips are omitted.
If we have to cancel the tour of some natural disaster or human manifestation, this will be rescheduled for a day of your convenience, or we will make the pertinent money refund. The client’s safety is a priority for us.
We are not responsible for any luggage or personal valuables lost or damaged during the tour. Please take care of your personals during the tour.
