Monteverde Adventure Day is an excellent experience with the thrill of ziplining, discovering the hanging bridges, and the fantastic views from the aerial tram. The park has 8 ziplines ranging from 500 to 1,800 meters and heights from 30 to 70 meters. The tour gives you the opportunity to fly via cable and has a unique experience of adventure and adrenaline at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. In addition, the tour offers 5 observation towers above the cloud forest treetops providing a panoramic view.

Monteverde Adventure Day starts with a safety briefing and training session. Once you feel confident, you’ll be taken to the first zipline. The experienced guides will ensure you have a safe and fun time. The ziplines are all interconnected, so you’ll be zipping from one platform to another. The longest zipline is 1,800 meters long, and it’s a truly exhilarating experience. You’ll reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour!

Before the zip lines and arriving at the first platform to depart, you’ll have a chance to relax and enjoy the views from the Aerial Tram. The aerial tram is a high-technology cableway that includes a ride of 1600 meters with altitudes between 1400 and 1600m.a.s.l. The aerial tram will lead you up to the Continental Divide and one of the highest mountains of Monteverde.

The aerial tram is a guided tour, and you will have the opportunity of short stops to observe the cloud forest biodiversity, the Arenal, Tenorio, Miravalles, and Orosi volcanoes, the Nicoya Gulf, and the Guanacaste plain if weather permitting. The gondolas have been adapted for people with some disabilities.

Later the Monteverde Adventure Day allows you to enjoy the area’s flora and fauna while you hike by the Hanging Bridges, and you will be accompanied by one of our specialized guides. The tour lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. The hanging bridges reunite all the conditions of security and confidence. The bridges have been adapted for people with some disabilities.
